HELP Dash Display

A vandal recently broke of my side mirror and I am guessing that some of the ripped out wires have shorted out and now my heater is on flat out hot and I have no central screen display, no radio, backing camera etc. I thought that it was likely just a fuse but no fuses in kick panel or under hood appear blown. Is there another fuse somewhere or does anyone have any ideas for a fix. Thanks in advance

There is a fuse panel at the U.S. model driver footwell. Maybe it's the same location for Aussie models. There are also fuses under the hood next to the left hand air filter housing and I believe at the IPDM. The best way to check if there is an open in a fuse is to test it with a digital multimeter. Put the meter on ohms and put the negative lead on one side and the positive on the other. If it reads OL or out of limits the fuse is bad. A lot of people just do a visual of a fuse and think it's good just because the wire in the little window isn't blown/open.

If you don't have a digital multimeter, use a test light to test the fuse. It sounds like when you're car was vandalized that there was a short to ground and it blew a fuse. Therefore leading to inoperative accessories.

I'm not the greatest at electrical, but, I'd start by checking the fuses.

thanks

yes thanks for the reply , should have mentioned that I checked all fuses in footwell and under hood, but none blown, double checked them with multimeter. Hopoefully there is another fuse/fuses somewhere that I have not found yet. Put my scan tool on but appears to only read engine codes as it did not indicate any faults either.

When you checked the fuses under the hood did you check the ones at the IPDM? You have to take off the battery cover and I believe you also have to remove the battery.
