"Scuff Protection"

I installed the "scuff protection" panels (a Nissan accessory for the new Z) on my 370Z today. Here's my review:
Pros:

Fitment is perfect for the 370Z
Easy to install

Cons:

The obvious edges of the scuff protection seem to clutter up the door panel's lines.
Adhesive tape that secures them leaves some small gaps and buckles.
Price (around $100 ppd) is hard to justify.

I'm still trying to decide whether to leave these on or not.
