"400Z"-370Z Parts Interchange
I was reading a article yesterday regarding SEMA that Nissan is already using Nismo suspension parts from the 370z on the "400", namely FUCA's, tie rods, end links, rear camber links, mid links, and traction arms.
Nismo will have a 6/4 piston brake kit with larger slotted rotors and optional $450 pads out early next year which would be interesting if it fits the 370. Road & Track tested the pads in the base brakes on the track and raved about them. Also for the 400 will be a coil over kit with rebound adjustment, adjustable anti roll bars, LM-RS1 wheels intake, larger intercooler, stainless exhaust system, clutch and flywheel designed to hold 800 hp, carbon mirror caps, carbon steering wheel trim, AL fuel filler and oil filler caps and titanium shift knob. Moving forward it will be interesting to see what aftermarket 400 parts will also fit on the 370 as well as 3rd parties doing their research and simply adding the 400Z to their fitment listings of parts previously made for the 370.

Need the new Nismo catalog with all of these whispered about goodies ASAP.
And although plenty of YouTubers chopped/screwed new Zs, it will bring all kinds of eyes to the platform. Hopefully plenty of fully-functioning tire slayers at the SEMA show.

Coilovers/airbag kits have also already been proven to be compatible (just like the suspension arms), so I wouldn't doubt the sway bars are the same; and the fuel/oil filler caps and shift knob(s) have been available for... over a decade at this point. ...and if you look at the undersides of the Z34/RZ34, the exhaust is the same from the cats back as well. So, skip the Nismo/Magnaflow/Borla and go straight for the big boy Fast Intentions/Motordyne/etc. Honestly, for the companies that have supported the 370Z through suspension/exhaust components, the Z is blessing since Nissan really only changed the body kit, engine and part of the interior (dash/center console). |

On individual ground-up builds that are performed in Nismo Omori factory, when R35 calipers are being retrofitted to R32 thru R34 customer cars, the calipers have always been aesthetically left alone as well.

The Stoptech ST40 isn't worth the money or buying it under the Nismo nameplate? Does the advertised "upsized" rotor fit in 19" wheels?

On this one I think those are 18x10.5 inch LMGT4's: As stated in your other thread, SPL's official answer when I asked bout Z34 parts compatability: "We can’t release any of that information sadly" Wonder if Nissan gagged them until SEMA If the new Z is using the exact same Akebonos, then any existing kit should bolt right up, which means . . . contact DarkJak for his setup if you need the upgrade

I'm pretty sure each shock and spring will have a different part number stamped on it if you wantrd to just change one at a later date. |

Shadow, or brakeware
Stepped rotor makes no sense
