NISMO department upgrades?
 

Does anyone have experience with the NISMO department chassis upgrades? I am doing the upper a-arms to get a custom steering alignment, I am wondering if anyone has done the chassis stiffeners in particular, or other upgrades such as the solid subframe bushings, and what the results were? Thanks.

The Nismo suspension parts are just re-branded SPL parts.

Yes those SPL parts do look very similar, maybe some different paint finishes?, I will read Rusty's thread for the general benefits, thanks!

SPL makes the parts for Nismo. They just change the color and charge more.

I’ve done the Z1 urethane motor mounts, trans mount….solid diff bushings and sub farm collars…. Has made a huge difference in handling on my Nismo

Those really don't do much.

I was thinking a cage would do a lot more then them. I was thinking about some soul function stuff in addition, for myself

I emailed them and they said the would do it in 4130 "chromoly" for an extra 200$

My local race shop quoated be 3650(cad) for a similar cage in Docol R8 tubing.
