I daily drive mine too. There are days now and then when I agree the AT would be easier to drive. I drove a Titan before the Z and a Maxima before that so I definitley remember how my commute used to be with an AT. BTW, when driving those vehicles I would often miss the MT I had in a Civic Si. I think it's one of those 'want what you don't have' kind of things.

All that said, I can't imagine driving the Z with anything other than the manual. After almost 9k miles I'm completely familiar with it and don't have to think about it at all. The clutch isn't too stiff and even in traffic I don't get worn out.

I didn't keep the Maxima or Titan very long and I'm paying for it. If you really wanted a new car altogether the financial impact may be worth it but to swap for the same car just with a different transmission - I would only do that if I really hated the MT.

Edit: One more thought - if no one else in the family drives stick, look at that as a good thing. The Z is all yours.

Thanks. I think im gonna keep the car only because the hit isn't worth the transmission change when i really think about it. I dont hate the 6MT, I just think the 7AT is the better of the two. My finance is for four years. I'll just get something new then.
