HeavyDSparks crushes 70 "sports cars"
So, no sure if anyone has been aware of this, this took place over the last two days. Video was released and then made private within just a few short hours do to backlash. Heavy D basically bought a whole lot of used Datsun and Nissan Z cars, 70 plus of them, then smugly on camera crushed them and transported for scrap metal. After just a couple hours was loosing numbers of subscribers. The only thing I have dug up or found was a Reddit post. Anyone else hear about this?

Pretty funny that, but no these are the Diesel Brothers from Discovery Channel. These are the guys that got in trouble for manipulating diesel truck emissions a few years back. A couple of meat heads if you ask me.

What a **** !

Fuckin assclowns!
Although, they are getting exactly what they wanted... attention :shakes head: |
Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't the Diesel crowd to blame for those anti tuning laws in Cali? It wouldn't sound far fetched to me as most Diesel people i've met aren't respectable upstanding citizens like Rusty.

So, HeavyDSparks posted a follow-up video to his Z bashing/crushing stunt. Claims all cars were well beyond their use and well beyond repair/restoration. Not going to post a link to the YouTube channel as this gives them attention I don't want to give, though me saying this does too. Take it how you want. I know I hate seeing these cars torn up, but if what he said was true, maybe it was valid to scrap them? Sucks to see so many go at once is all.

Probably needed the $$ from the scrap yard to help pay the millions in legal fees and federal and state fines for polluting the sh1t outta the environment by selling souped up diesel brodozer trucks and lying about how they were as clean as or cleaner than stock.
I’m sure there were plenty of ‘Mercia coal rolling fanbois that loved seeing dem rice burner import cars being crushed, seems like that show’s target demographic (Iirc, I think the show is indefinitely on hiatus bc of the emissions cheating legal issues). |

If a whole bunch of folks were cheering him on, you think he’d suddenly have a change of heart and realize “the error of his ways”. Real car guys and gear heads appreciate all different types of automobiles. You don’t have to like them all or even care about them, but you should respect that others do. I personally don’t like big rims with skinny tired lifted to high heaven pickup trucks, but given the chance, I’m not gonna crush any of them bc, one, idgaf enough to expend the energy, and two, I’m not an azzhole. Btw, it is irrelevant if those cars were in HIS opinion beyond salvaging, bc at a minimum, they were parts cars for someone else’s project. And, as older cars become more scarce, cars that were once not worth saving become viable restoration candidates. Look at 60s and early 70s mopars foe example, folks will restore some truly shitbox examples that 25-30years ago would’ve been left to rot. |
I do agree a lot with the last two posts. As for different kinds of automobiles, I also appreciate a lot of differences between different types and seeing different thought processes behind the mechanics and tech out there. The clientele for certain ones however are sometimes harder to get along with, but is not the cars or trucks fault for this.

Video can be summed up with the current "meme phrase"/
Tell me you have no class, without telling me you have no class. :shakes head: |
