No

It was an option, along with the Z floor mats and retractable cover.

Ah ok. I think it was stock in my model I never looked into 370z/Fairlady Z34s before buying Z34 I brought so I dont know nothing about them

Have Z33 I brought like 6 months ago , ,Before that only S30's and 510's .. and C110 and 710 violets and all SSS models that were rwd . . .

I think the Z34 I got is one of a limited run ,
Keen to find out how many were made

The USA doesn't get the fog light, but it is standard elsewhere. There are a couple of threads detailing installing one on US cars as 4th brake lights, that offer descriptions of wiring it in.
There were only a couple of special edition cars offered, one being the 40th Anniversary Edition, although the options mentioned above were often dealer-added options. My NISMO came from the dealer with all 3.

Damn! Seven years of mystery before the light came on!

I always thought the dealer had just made an error by leaving extra mats in my car.

I know mine only had one other owner but everything was stock when I picked it up.this being the main reason I got it. But it does have the rear fog light .which confuses me why this would be the only modification.

yes it is a JDM 40th Anniversary Edition has no inside badges the usa ones have or on the strut brace , but is 6 speed . I see some web sites say jdm ones are 2009, but build date on mine is 02/2010 , has the red stiching like a Nismo has and black hood lining chassis number is mid 800 ,,Chassis number should be the build number . .so under the 1000
