Got a good look at it on the Nissan website yesterday. I have to say it looks better in blue than it does in yellow. I'm also curious to see what they do for a NISMO version. I can't see myself paying the premium for the upper tier cars.
Oh, according to the video, Nissan did away with the numeric prefix. The new one is just a "Z"...

If the NISMO Z version has 450 or more hp though, I seriously might consider it. All depends on the dreaded EPS feel. Idk how people can feel connected to the road without a traditional rack and pinion.

OT: Car lookin good OP

I would almost think it would have to, to compete in the Mustang/Camaro market. The 5.0 Mustang starts at 460 horse and around $41k. I assume the Chevy is about the same. (Personally, I don't like the aesthetics of either, lol)

I'm not 100% sure on this, but I think it still has a steering rack, but the power assistance is electronic instead of hydraulic. Many car companies are adding this for autonomous driving features (lane keep assist, different levels of auto-pilot, etc.)

My WRX has EPS and that system doesn't provide the best feedback. It's not unnatural, but I could not feel the suspension load through the corners on the track like I can with the Z34 hydraulic system. It's not impossible to make a good EPS system though. Porsche seems to have mastered it if you believe the reviews.

Makes sense to me.
