my cars acting weird
so today im driving and out of no where the car just felt like i hit the brakes hard but i didnt. This was about an hour ago and I drove for 3-4 miles and it keeps on doing it. its usually in 1st or 2nd gear when it happens. its not the transmission or the clutch i think it might have something to do with the fuel pump am i wrong? By the way the check engine light came up right before it happened for the first time. Im off work tomorrow so ill be able to take it to the dealership but if its the fuel pump it should be covered under warranty right? and how long would the whole thing take because i have work on sunday and i really dont wanna take a rental. any idea what it can be?

Yes, it's covered and being thats it's on a Sat, they may or may not finish. great if it works out for you....

that depends on the dealer, explain your situation, that it's your only transportation, and they may provide you with a bucket to get around in, and if not the rentals are pretty cheap due to the type of cars they give out...

If it's a lease more than likely...

paying 591 a month so i should be getting something in return lol.... i hope its nothing serious tho
|
Let us know what happens.....
|
ok definitely but i cant sleep because of that freakin problem. i wish i knew what it is
|
Why would it matter if it's lease or not? Does your contract say that you get a lease for services?
|
It's nothing. You can't do anything about it, if was an older car yes but a new car under warranty... Don't sweat the small stuff.........get some sleep.

However, I do know that the dealerships often have loaners that they actually rent out to the customers who needs a car during the service period at a pretty fair price. The rental policy, I believe, is also very similar to those rental car company's. I hope Nissan does the right thing for you in this case. :) Good luck! |
Please post results of dealership's diagnostics/resolution! Thanks.
