Three Little Pigs

The only problem is these little pigs love oil!! Just got off the phone with Nissan Consumer Affairs and they want to put a third engine in my car. My dealership is a Carfax participant I'm sure there will be alot of people interested in a car with a history like this. I also have water intrusion when I go through the car wash and my passenger carpet gets soaked. This only after the motor was swapped out. It smells wonderful!! Nissan if your listening I want a new car or bail out money.

Make sure your passenger window got correctly reset, otherwise there won't be a water tight seal! Just put the window down all the way and then all the way up and hold the switch in the up position for 3 seconds.

You hoping to keep it, or hoping it becomes a lemon?

Zed-Hed 01-22-2010 07:53 PM

I really want a new car.

Sorry to hear about your car. Every car manufacturer makes an occasional lemon, cars are just too complicated and have too many parts from contractors and third parties. I consider myself lucky, aside from an annoying rattle my car (9k miles now) has been perfect.

Zsteve 01-22-2010 08:28 PM

that does suck man, they should get you a new car. Have you checked on the lemon law?

Trips 01-22-2010 09:22 PM

I'd get legal advice, and see about claiming it as a lemon..

Zed-Hed 01-24-2010 07:28 AM

I intend to seek legal advice. The lemon law allows for three attemps to correct the same problem.

I can understand the original engine being an oil burner. It can happen. But a second engine also needs replacing? How are you breaking in your engines? They are not oil consumers as you have generalized.
