DONE! First off let me say, Eric Cotto at The Autobarn Nissan in Evanston is the best dealer I've ever worked with. He got me under invoice on the new Z (when all I asked was that he match invoice price) and got me more than I thought I would get on the trade-in by walking through all the options I had on my Lexus IS350 with the appraiser. He didn't like the value of the trade in offered by his manager so HE offered to go back and haggle FOR me. He went so far as to tell me to back up my car a few inches to hide one of my bent rims on the curb so I could get a better offer. He was very no nonsense about the whole process and I would have been in and out if it hadn't been for the slow process in the financing department. I highly recommend buying from him or at the very least giving him the opportunity.
Anyways, I can't get this smile off my face. If it wasn't completely dark out and drizzling, I'd take pictures. It's a platinum granite 2010 Roadster Touring with the Sport package, Navi, and all the available options except the splash guards. The SRM system works as advertised. The new navigation system is really sweet. The menus are fast and there's virtually no lag between typing in letters, unlike the much slower one in my old Lex. That leftmost information pod next to the speedo is a little hard to use but I'm sure I'll get used to it. I wish the 3rd pod wasn't a dedicated clock as there's a clock on the navi screen already. One thing I notice is that 3rd gear doesn't seem as notchy as the other gears and going into it feels like it's not in all the way. I felt like I kept missing the gear but nope, it was in there. Sorry for all the random thoughts! I'm just smitten by new purchase. Off to go sit in the car for a bit and figure out the navigation system. Thanks to everyone for their responses and support! |

I guarantee you'll end up driving it.
Congrats on the purchase!

Just as a point of reference, my car was fresh of the truck, and it had 10 miles on it.
