Update- Worked through the nite... Woke up the next morning, and there was a little sleet on the ground, not as bad as what the weather people said it would be. Left the station about 7:00. I commute 75 miles to work, and it got progressivly worse as I got closer to home. The worse was the road right before my house, in which the *** end starting to come out from under me.... I was actually surprised, left off the gas, and the traction control worked its magic! Got in my neighborhood, and was home free! Just gave the Jeep a tune up, and now both cars are good to go!! Thanks all!

why dont you have winter tires on the car? summer performance tires are unsafe in winter even on dry asphalt. being a firefighter you should know better

Being a firefighter, I DO know better.... I know that this car should just be kept in the garage when it is snowing.... That is why I threw down 2200 bucks, and got a Jeep (a set of rims and winter tires would have been only a little cheaper)..... No sense in messing up the Z when there is salt and ice on the road!! Just didn't check the weather reports, thats all... I am honestly more concerned about putting some more miles on the Z, as I am currently in the process of doing a oil consumption test for Nissan, so have been trying to drive it more, even over the winter months.... Just had no idea about the snow/sleet!
