Finally
Well finally the nissan dealer near me got a Monterey blue touring package only 370z in. My wife and I were going to pay our phone bill when I noticed the hood of a blue car in the show room so I immediatly turned around and went in to look at this beauty. I noticed right off the bat that it didn't have the sports package but it had the touring package only. The salesman gave me a brief and obscure tour of the car cuz he didn't very much so I schooled him. The interiour is gorgeous and the seats were as I remember the corvette's seats feeling like, very tender and soft to sit in yet incredibly supportive to me. The shifter felt rock solid but damn no syncro-rev button to play with as it didn't have the sports package included in this one. Well I turned the stereo on to see if the rumers were true about the bose system sucking and I was very very pleased with it's performance. The bass was just right, the clarity was very nice, and to all that still wonder the sub is a 10" spare tire mounted unit. I was all in all very impressed by the color even in the really sh@#ty lighting thanks to the flourescent lights. The car was everything I expected and more, bad thing is that was the only one so noone was alowed to test drive it until they get more in. I don't want to test it unless it has the sport model in as well. The shocker which made me laugh litterely out loud was the dealer's reatail price. The recommended sticker price was 35,538 or something like that, the dealer marked it up 5,000 dollars, at 40, 567 bucks. Well that was my insight on the car would, have taken pictures but my phone was acting up and didn't have a camera handy.

its pretty funny one by me marked it up 4k.. i one dealership and i asked if they price matched, they said one sec need to talk to the guy who can say yes.. they call back and say no take that deal theres no way we can sell it at that price right now.. i say soo instead of selling alot of cars and making 2k off of each one you would rather have it sit in your lot with a 4k markup on them,, all i heard was silence and then the phone hung up hjahaha the greed of stealerships is priceless

Well at&t has messed up with our address soo many times and can't seem to get it right, they keep sending my mother the bill. So the store is just maybe 3/4 of a mile away, and we tried online before and they said they never received payment.
On to the other thing, yeah what is the deal with dealerships not wanting to make any money. The salesman I was talking to kept trying to push me into buying one even though I told I am currently unemployed. Then he kept wanting to appraise my car for a trade in even though there is a pretty nice dent on the back left quarter panel and that drastically decreases the value of it. I looked at my wife and just laughed really hard seeing a touring only equiped z at $40,538

i find dealers funny that markup 5k, but can't blame them for trying.
and like zero said...cars that they order/paid for loses money the longer it stays on their lot. so if you can wait....pretty sure you can get them at invoice with the current econ. situation we are in. times are tough for everyone. i for sure am waiting too...just for the right price. btw what color was the interior? i haven't seen gray yet... |

I think that Blue is hot. Very nice choice. I'm still debating what color to get. i know its a bit Vanilla but down here in Florida nothing like a white car to stay cool, especially during the Summer months
