Mine came in today, curious though did yours come with pre-punched holes as shown in their install guide? Mine has none

if not what did you use to punch the holes?

I believe it was blank. I placed boot inside the console cover and pressed it against the locator pins. In otherwords, I worked from inside out. The pins made an impression on the leather and I punched out accordingly.

I prefer the pin punch type. its more portable and you can re-sharpen. I used a block of wood behind the boot so as to not dull or damage punch.
