Its a good price if you feel it's a good price; overall I would say you got a good deal - the 12k miles shows that the car was a never used as a daily and to get it OTD - I'm assuming that the sticker price was around 20k before TTL.

As for the extended warranty - I would say you did the right thing not getting it - overall this platform is pretty solid and the issues/concerns are pretty well documented; and getting the auto - you are able to avoid one of them (the CSC affects some of the manual transmissions).

Congrats on the new ride - post pics.

Price is only part of the equation... the condition of the car is more important. I personally would pay more for one with excellent condition and mileage, the price can vary in thousands.

Assuming the car is accident free and in excellent condition, that seems to be a good price for a loaded 12k miles car.

You did the right thing not to buy the extended warranty... it is a 12k mile car and the Z is reasonable reliable as your auto tran car doesn't have to worry about the CMC/CSC.

It sounds pretty good given the mileage

When I look at this car as a purchase, I don't count on the warranty aspect based on how lackluster it seems for Nissan to handle things — but the car itself is actually great. Free to make your own, finances permitting. Of course other big thing is having a place to take the car for service.

That out of the way, it's pretty basic to focus on getting one in proper condition, and then preferred trim/color. Not like other cars where you have to really watch for yearly revisions or deliberate the worth of a CPO etc. This car has been what it is for 12 years. Some ways that can be underwhelming, but it kinda makes things much easier to live with.

$23k for a 6 years old car despite the mileages, it is a bit high. You could have gotten it less than $20k easy.

Should of, could have, would have... Enjoy your car and don't worry about what you paid. It's done.

Also the Z is very reliable so you don't need the insurance. I would just change all the fluids and enjoy it.

One thing I have learned is never question what you paid for after the fact if you can't return the thing. Cars especially. The deal is done, don't second guess yourself, and enjoy the car!

I have a couple of opinions on the matter. Pick whichever one suits your fancy :tiphat:
