Start up with clutch only?
Yesterday I noticed a change in starting the Z from clutch + brake + push start to clutch + push start, is there a way to switch between the 2? I have no clue as to how it would have happened. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...011e7a4488.jpg

Ive never had to step on the brake to start the car. Sure you just werent hitting the brake pedal along with the clutch out of habit or something?

I think you have to hit the brake with the 7AT?
I've never had to push both to start, and the pod has never shown me having to push both. Kirk B. |
Agreed. I can confirm that you only need to press clutch pedal to start a manual car. Automatic car requires brake pedal.

For manual Z's it's always been: Clutch pressed in and while holding it down, pressing the push to start and once it starts going, you take your foot off the clutch.
