Why was my thread moved?

After a few comments from other members and a few replies from me, the thread was moved. Where was the thread moved to? What am I missing about the etiquette of this forum, that I did not experience in other forums I have been participating in for decades for Corvettes, Mustangs, Camaro's, Shelby GT500's, Powerboats and watches?

It got moved because most mods on small forums feel pretty good when they are able to call you out on specifics. Taking into account that the 1st page of the general discussion section goes back almost 2 weeks, it obviously isn't really a problem. But they would rather move your thread into one of the other 30 subsections that no one really reads.
