Mike selling his Z for only 75k
|
I think he had been trying to sell it....saw it on FB a long while ago.
Back in 2015, he listed it for $115k https://www.gtrlife.com/forums/topic...om-everything/ |
I think it was list for $82K a couple months ago.
|
I wish he'd part out the hood to me. I can swap my stock PW with him.

He's been trying to sell it for a few years now. The only way he will get his money out of it is to part it out. And he will still be in a hole.
I've never seen a dyno chart over 900HP from him. He hasn't been on the forum since Feb. |
For that price, ppl would rather get an used z06, gtr, m6, a4, etc plus the new z is around the corner..I would just keep it after all the money he has invested on or take a huge loss.
|
For that price I'd invest in a house ;)
Dude's going to take a bath on a loss. Especially right NOW! |
Makes for harder sale because no bank would make loans for this. Buyer most likely needs to come up with cold hard cash.
Plus, who is gonna work on this motor when something goes south? At this power level, there’s no guarantee on longevity. |
:rofl2: it's at $67,500 now.

On a different note....those purple hoses and the gold Work vs-xx (I think)....those were from another member? (forgot his username....wide body purple and gold theme....sold his stuff maybe a couple of years ago....what happened to that car?) |
Tough to see. I mean of course no one can really see eye-to-eye on a modified build. To him it's a whole lot of obsessed time and effort, to everyone else it's not as refined as current sports car in that price range and a mystery to maintain.
Like in perspective, that bats*** crazy V12 Top Secret MK.IV Supra only sold for $80k. For all we know it could be one of those cases where he doesn't want to truly sell it (despite the listed motive). I feel like we've all been in those kinds of scenarios before where we're in between. Kinda like "well I tried to sell it but aww man aww geez no one's buying it so I'll just keep it" and quiet smile. |
I don't know, for 67k.. seems somewhat worth it. You can dump that money and more trying to get the HP it has. Nevermind that sexy widebody set up. It is a steep purchase, but I think it's reasonable. Definitely superb

It's not worth it to basically everyone. But that doesn't mean he won't be able to sell it; it only takes one person who sees a different value than everyone else. |
tough sale. basically impossible - the only person that would buy it would be someone with that much disposable income, loves our specific cars, and doesn't want to built it themselves. What is the venn diagram of customers fitting all of those? Tiny if it exists
If you have an extra $70K lying around . . . are you buying a built Z? and wouldn't you want to build it yourself to your personal spec? Or . . . buy a different car? |

the market for mustangs is probably alot better than the market for Zs, generally

I'm certain he has 100+ into his car but people are not going to pay for the R and D efforts that were done by GTM. 1000hp isn't that crazy these days.
I bet he could get 45-55k... Not sure he would get much more than that. But then again, there are idiots with money. On the right day he could hit that jackpot lever. Sent from my SM-G975U using Tapatalk |

Well, what ever. 200 is way too rich for me. My build is 1/4 that price and I feel silly at times. The major difference is getting stuck with a shop bill vs doing it hands on. he did the shop build path at the start and then took it over himself because GTM was sucking all his money away (just like they did everyone else for their GTM turbo grifting scheme).
The GTM situation still pisses me off and I didn't even do the buy in. |
I made a $1 offer. Lets see if I get it. :tiphat:
That wing is LOL!!! |
No one wants to buy car like that. It's because all those parts are more of a want than a need and they won't appeal to a majority of buyers. Simple.
I would do a part out, he has this forum at his disposal and should just do a part out and take the car back to stock as possible. Once stock, sell it. Fun fact, you will never make money back of a car unless its a unique, limited production which has eventually ceased production. Best of luck on that sale. |
he should add a number plate
thats what made all those Type R's valuable |
$65.5k OBO now.

A week ago I offered him a low-ball offer of $1 and he immediately countered offered for $64,999.99. So.....there is some wiggle room on the price. :excited:
|
Side conversation.....how the hell does BettyZ get 2-million+ Rep Power for being a joined member in less than two years?
|
My offer still stands on the dot! 75,000 phpesos
