You can use whatever 5W30 oil you wish - it doesn't call for a specific type. Could run Mobil 1 if you'd like...or, hell, DinoJuice(tm).

Some just prefer the benefits that better oils have, like valve train noise reduction, among other things.

But only when its extremely cold out below 30 degrees and only after i had just driven the car.

If i drive the car and wait a minute before starting it back up everything is normal.. Other than thos 2 things the car runs great no other issues..
This is what I meant reliable and it scares me to buy it when these things happen !! I mean I love these cars and of course cars will have some problem but it happen mostly to nissan and my cousin's G35 too !!

In these cars there are alot of electronics.. and when its this cold in the low 20's like it has been its easier for things to go bad. I mean the engine is still fine thats the most important part lol. the steering wheel lock is electronic on this car and when its REALLY cold i could hear it struggle to engage and disengage and then it finally just went.

The reliability of any model can be different from its predecessor, but I have had my 300ZX TT for 19+ years and its been very reliable and still going strong (knock on wood).

Not. There are millions of cars out there of all makes and models. None are perfect. Maybe car ownership is not for you if you're worried about reliability.

Well I'm not saying every car gotta be perfect but from what i've seen or heard, a lot of nissan vehicles (I'm just talking Japanese made) tend to hvave a lot of problems, I used to own a 06 honda civic, drove that for 46,000 miles no problems AT ALL. Then my 08 acura TL at 30,000 miles and same thing. My friend's 350z has to go to dealer for some problems, my cousin G35 engine wont start 3 times and also some problems at just 25,000 miles.

You feel me now ?? you are not thinking of what I'm thinking or is it just my lack of English vocab to express myself lolz

I'm not sure any of us are going to be able to give you what you want.
What are you looking for a 100% guarantee?

Just quit screwing around and get a Z or don't. Just do something.

you know, notwithstanding those issues, if you wanna talk about poor quality - look to the USA built cars such as GM/Ford/Chrysler, or Australia - Ford / Holden (subsidiary of GM). Those cars are known for bad quality.

Or just keep to your Hondas. The closest car is probably the S2000. I dont know the cost of it in USA though? But you wont get the performance and the S2000 is starting to get a tad old now.

Every car has some problems somewhere. I've only had my Z for a couple of weeks, so I can't really comment about anything other than off-the-line quality, which is excellent.

I previously owned two GM cars and I didn't really have any major issues with either (though I did have some smaller issues). My main gripe was that they just didn't have a feeling of polish to them at all.

To be quite honest unless you hear about a common mechanical malfunction (such as the problem with WRX engines between 08-09 or the auto tranny in the Camaro) then I would just buy whatever car you like based on other factors. I mean, small **** will happen to any car no matter how good the quality is or how cheap/expensive it is. That's why you have a warranty.
