Thumbs up ZCON 2010 - Nashville, TN July 28th-August 1st

Hello Everyone!

Since the 2010 National Z Car Convention is going to be in my backyard (so to speak), I though I’d pass alone this info to you all. I might even suggest that if several of you decide to come I’d even be willing to organize some sort of “get together” for 370s…maybe a short cruise or something.

Anyway, the website for ZCON 2010 is up and registration is OPEN so be thinking about this and register “early” to take advantage of the discount.

I hope to see a bunch of you here!

I live in Nashville and will be definitely sign up for this. I just got my Z last week. Right now I am in Denver and missing the daily drive. Funny thing: The hotel I am staying in while in Denver has a wine bar across the street called the Winery. My fiance was there and learned of a local Z club meet today. Well I couldnt go because a meeting but saw the Z cars parked everywhere. We went in before dinner and the owner asked about my Z and why I wasnt there! Small world. Hello Denver Z club They had a sweet PG Roadster right out front.

I might be up for it, if I can get away. Its not far from me, being in Memphis...but my vacation is already planned, hitting the Dragon with a buddy who drives a GTO.

We've had a couple from Canada who have made the trip to ZAttack several times...quite a drive for them but they've made it several times!

Why don't you hook-up with the Middle Tennessee Z Club...it's a good group of people even in spite of allowing me to be a member!

Bounced this off my wife...maybe more suitable for a "couples" drive and "things to do" in the area than Zdayz @ Tail of The Dragon (which will probably do solo if I can't get a friend to go).

She's not big on twisities but loved road trips and Nashville definitely peaked her interest.

I have to say I agree with your wife and twisities when one is a passenger...pushing the Z hard on roads like the Dragon is GREAT fun for the drive; not nearly so fun for a passenger (at least not with the stock seats/seat belts).

I always do ZDayZ and will again this year but while I was just a little "cold" to ZCON 2010 being in Nashville I'm starting to get pumped that this event is in Nashville this year...just the banquet with Mr. K attending (by live video/audio hookup) by itself could make the trip worthwhile for a Z enthusiast and all the activities should be great whatever one's tastes run to.

We usually have quite a large contingent from Ohio for ZAttack so I hope Ohio (especially being my home state) is well represented at ZCON this year!
