The rock slide that has closed the Dragon at the bridge (basically where it starts in Tennessee) is supposed to be re-opened this Saturday but I'd still check to be sure before you get there!

Although I will say, it was actually nice in May for ZDayZ as almost all the Motorhomes/trailers, etc, etc, that so often clog the Dragon were absent (since they couldn't get through)!!!

All of you dragon-slayers should be good route-wise. Just watch out for the crazy bikers crossing center on the turns. Many a Z have gone to the scrap-yard thanks to US-129.

Very true...unfortunately, more than a few cars (including "Z" cars) have been guilty of crossing the yellow as well which is always STUPID, sometimes costly in terms of dollars and sometimes costly in lives.

Our plan is to cruise the Dragon and the Skyway, we are not planning to set any speed records on the Dragon. We just want to drive it have a good time and make it back to ZCON with straight fenders

thats a good plan! I used to drive it fast, but its just too much work and too tiring. I like a comfortable cruise up the dragon, and the fun stuff for the skyway and for foothills parkway. Its got very wide sweepers and next to zero traffic.
