Gentlemen and Ladies,
The Z is a toy used only in good weather, and winter stored. Daily driver is a 17 Subaru OutBack Premier or my Bride's 2018 Subaru Forester Limited. The 2005 GMC 3500 Dually does the RV hauling duties. I can't imagine driving a Z in winter with those wide tires, low ground clearance, and rear wheel drive!! |

When the weather is nice in the summer. It's Z time. :driving: Bad weather and winter. It's Power Wagon time. :driving: And then there's the bike. For long distance traveling. It's the motorhome. :driving: Wifey has a Jeep Grand Cherokee TrailHawk.

Nope. Just a fun toy. 31k miles on the garage queen. Bought a new z900 in lieu of entertaining forced induction on the 370 - it's more thrilling for sure. The daily is a 2016 Subaru Crosstrek which I absolutely love.

When the weather is good the Z gets driven. When it is crappy i drive my 1986 MR2.

Everyday both summer and winter. It ain't a Ferrari :).

Rusty,
I've never seen a motor home with a roof line like that!!!! Does it even clear an underpass? |

I daily drive my Z, but only in nice weather. Rain or snow it sits in the garage. My 2010 Taco takes the bad weather driving. I've got two motorcycles but haven't been on them in almost 2 years and I think the fuel injectors are clogged/dirty as they sat too long with old gas.

I love driving my Z, but...
After getting my new job, traffic is terrible, an hour of shifting between N and 1st gear because the speed is often lower than first gear. After dropping $900 on a new clutch it was time to get a daily. Picked up a 2014 Dart 2.4L Rallye :icon17: |

I hear ya! When I lived in L.A., I caught all kinds of hell for buying an Automatic Jeep Wrangler... but only from those I knew that didn't live in the LA area. Shifting from N to first, getting up to 14 mph, then hitting the brakes and shifting back to N (repeat 102 times per mile) gets sooooo old! |
I have a 2009 Touring I drive everyday. This one is my 5th and all have been daily drivers. I actually look forward to meetings because I get to drive the car. Like I told my brother when he was looking for a new car, "I don't know about you, but, I have fun going to the grocery store." I am going to change jobs and I am concerned I will have a company truck they will want me to drive. I. AM. NOT. A. TRUCK. GUY. I had a suburban I used for a field truck that was behind my car in the garage so I took it to the grocery store. I remember backing it up to the street, looking around at the truck, and saying, "this is the last time I drive this pig." And it was.

I live in Ontario, Canada. I daily drive my 2020 50th anniversary edition... from May 1st till late October... then she goes into storage... and I cry myself to sleep that night, over a dram or two of scotch...
Then my 2011 Crown Vic P71 Interceptor takes over as my "winter beater". It use to be an O.P.P highway patrol car from Orillia ON. has the push bar and everything. :rofl2: Solid car, I feel bad for putting it second... but that 370z though! :driving: |
Not a daily for me. I don't want salt touching my Z, whether it's rust proofed or not, but not everyone is as picky as me.
Winter time I rep the Toyota Corolla gang. |
All times are GMT -5. The time now is 11:59 PM. |
