Nissan 370Z marks out of 10 please

8/10... still doesn't have the classic 300ZX feeling and size.

9.5 out of 10. I have owned 5 new cars over the years and a few others, and have to say this is the most refined car I've owned to date. This car is very tight and solid with no squeaks, rattles or anything else when driving over rough pavement. I've only put on 1500 km's but initially this is a very good car. There is nothing that I don't love about this car, well maybe the limited visibility when backing into traffic. From looks to performance this car has it all. I highly recommend it.

I'd give it a solid 8, Don't care for the dash material all that much which is my only gripe. Though I am the same person that would give the 1997 Ford Mustang 10/10....

8/10 - 6 months of ownership and about 5K miles - needs more practicality (space) and power to get a higher rating from me

Might help if we listed our previous/other cars so we know what we're actually comparing the Z to:

2003 MazdaSpeed Protege - fully tuned, all bolt ons, somewhere around 260 WHP at 12psi, currently demoted to my daily driver and around 210 WHP at 8psi

2005 Mazda 6 - stock
1999 Nissan Pathfinder - stock
1995 VW Golf Sport (GTI suspension but not engine) - stock
1993 Ford Taurus - stock
1985 Nissan 300 ZX - stock (was dad's midlife crisis car)
1983 Oldsmobile Delta 88 Cutlass Supreme Royal

for me, the coolest thing about the 370z is there is no audible alarm for the seat belt.
i have a habit of putting the seat belt on after starting the engine and I would hear the seat belt alarm on all the cars i have driven, except for this z
