But it does have some float in the steering wheel when driving straight. It's not bad, but coming from the dead center, solid, steering feel of the Z while going sraight, I wish the M2 had that.

Also, I gotta be careful of the little imperfections I mention on the Bimmer forums, many fanboys there just waiting to pounce on honest people

By the way, congrats on the Z!
Try going from driving the Z to a 41ft Class A motorhome and back in a couple of hours. The difference in feel in the steering wheel is unbelievable.

Have them set you toe front and rear toe to dead middle of Nissan spec. Not close, dead on. This will help. It will also help to increase your front tire size. I went from a 245/45/19 on my Nismo to a 265/35/19 and it helped. I went to a 285/35/19 and I don't get much tramelining at all.

Someone's already explained tramlining.

This is drifting

And this is wondering

sorry.. I know you meant 'wandering' - which I would say is an unpredictable side to side movement from worn suspension components. Tramlining is following the camber in the road - the wheels are trying to steer you towards the lowest spot which is normally the part of the road other road users have beaten into submission with their tyres.

They must have fixed it for 2020. I don't have any of those problems.
