All true enough, unk, but I'd wager that people that buy the 40th DON'T plan on modifying their car. If you are going to pay extra for a special paint job and red leather from Nissan, the last thing you are going to do is to try and modify the interior with a new stereo system and nav package. Not to mention what happens to resale values when you try to modify stock equipment, especially commemerative editions.
"True" enthusiasts who do that probably would get their custom paint job, seats, and calipers somewhere else. Less price, Less weight, less price, and more bang for buck. This is why Nissan is missing the mark here. Nissan... wake up and find a way put navs as an option for 40ths in the US! |

Anyone want my 40th yr allocation? PM for details. This is in So Cal. Navi was a deal breaker and I can't order a new one so I have gone ahead and ordered a 2010 TTS. Now on to the 3 month wait.

I was disappointed that nav wasn't an available option on NA models, but it wasn't a deal breaker for me. I'll most likely add an aftermarket nav system to satisfy my in-car multimedia/nav needs. |

I love my 40th, and it gets more looks than the average Z. The color combo, the wheels, and even the brakes are conversation pieces. As for nav, I can use an atlas.

because it makes false promises.
im not a "Z-fanatic" so the non-40th's base with sportpackage does me well. i luv my 370Z, but it's a car i will enjoy and in 4-5 years move onto something different. when you buy those specialty edition cars it kinda makes you not want to mod it... so that's another problem for me. |

There were three 40th Ann in this area. My friend bought one today. The 370Z is not moving that well anyway doesn't matter what model.
They also have an used 370Z black Nismo on the local Nissan Dealer.

Only US version will not come with NAV, the 370 Euro Blacks and 50 Canadian Anni's models get NAV which make them somewhat rarer because of that configuration .
