Now i have a 2014 370Z, and made me forget
all about the 350Z. 🤷🏽*♂️

For those that owned both, did the 350 have more head room?

About the same from what I remember. I'm only 6'0" so I had no issues fitting in either one.

They are about the same. But I will say that the blind spots are worse in the 350Z, as the rear quarter windows are smaller.

I constantly had to spray plasti-dip on the arm rest, the center radio console, and the middle cubby hole

The 370Z, on the other hand, though the interior can be scratched, depending on the severity, they can be buffed/rubbed out.

Still have my 350Z.
A 2003,bought in 2002.
It just hit 100k miles.Runs better than new.
Full Nismo mods.I tend to like the looks of the 350 compared to my 370.
In summary,my 350 is heavily modified.The 370,pretty much stock.

Had a '04 Touring 6MT Superblack/Burnt Orange w/ Bose sound, back when I was in college. Only mods were AAM Plenum spacer, custom short ram intake w/ K&N, clear reflectors and Hawk HPS pads.
Loved that car, have to say the stock clutch pedal + master cyl + slave cyl setup on that car is/was 100x's better than the stock setup + CSC nonsense on the 370Z. Stock exhaust note is hands down, far and away better on the 350Z then the 370Z. the 350Z might be one of the best, most unique exhaust notes of any car I've ever heard. While the stock exhaust on my 2010 Nismo 370Z, on the other hand, sounds like a V6 Honda Accord.

I guess I was either just lucky, or extra careful, but I never had too bad of an issue with my 350 interior scratching. I was(/still am) very meticulous about my car and who I let in it though.

I had an '07 and there are some features I do miss from the 350Z that are absent on the 370Z:

1. stock exhaust note
2. the rounded curvature on the roofline vs the squared curvature on the 370Z
3. rear windshield wiper. why the models in Europe/Asia have this and not the US models is beyond me
4. miss the oil pressure gauge
5. the "bump" on the middle of the hood from the elevated engine.

People give me weird looks when I mention that the stock exhaust note sounds better on the 350Z than the 370Z, so thank you for confirming this. I loved that "Chewbacca" grumble, and always wondered if the OEM 350Z exhaust placed on the 370Z would make that note.

Thumbs up exhaust tone

Agree on the 350Z exhaust. The stock set up gave a distinctive VQ sound.
I modified mine a bit. Went with a Nismo S Tune cat back.Added Hi-Flow
cats(Z1). The tone is now pretty aggressive. A negative on the 350z is
cabin noise from the exhaust. The rear wheel wells are in the car right behind
the seats.
On the scratch prone surfaces etc.,this is so true. Nissan uses contractors for
most items like knobs, inside door barrel coves and a huge number of trim items.I "carbonized" most (pretty much all)surfaces. Also, the cheap silver
accents save for the passenger door pull are gone.
Hint:carbon dash kits do a excellent job on a interior redo for those on a budget. Not real solid carbon, dash kits use a a carbon cloth covered in a clear
poly. Very durable.

I do miss the oil pressure gauge. Mine was really a great car. I vastly prefer the look of the 370z though, and the interior is worlds better.

Note my AVITAR--changed to show carbon mods on legendary scratched
350Z door barrel & assembly.Same thing available for our 370Z.
Great looks update. No scratches-hard resin finish.
