DONT KILL ME WITH FIRE! but...
Ok so I've been thumbing through this forum looking for answers with no success. Sprint booster blah blah blah I know lol tunes yes blah blah blah I know...again...lol however! I came across the Injen X-Pedal Pro Throttle Controller. How in the hell does it offer launch control if all it does is intercept the throttle signal?? Sounds a bit sketchy any input that's based on FACTS or EXPERIENCE? thanks for the time!

Couldn't find a manual on the Injen web site, but it looks like it is basically the same as the SprintBooster but with more curves available. I have a feeling that Injen's definition of "launch control" is different than that of a lot of people but couldn't find any info to confirm/deny.

From what I can gather, this is just their version of the Sprint Booster.

They are being deliberately deceptive about their product. I think it's called marketing

just get a tune and have them add launch control.

After reading the Injen X-pedal Pro Throttle Controller appears to be the same product as the SprintBooster. If you like the placebo effect go for it either one will do. For launch control you may want to get a custom ECUTek tune from a reputable tuner.

sooooooo like everyone else who told you just to go the tune route, i was giving you the correct advice. so if you want launch control, better pedal response, etc etc etc go get a tune and quit wasting peoples time with this controller nonsense.

Anyone ******** on the Sprintbooster has never actually tested it. It makes an immediate difference on the mid settings.
Yes a tune would be better, but a tune can/should only come after all your other upgrades whereas a SB can be plugged in at any time. Dumbass advice saying to get the tune instead. |
