I hadn't considered a used Lexus. Thanks for that.

The G70 has just been released here and I like it, but the price is astronomical for some reason. For instance, the base 2.0l turbo G70 on road is about 15k more expensive (BMW 340i territory) than the top-trim Stinger GT, which gives you the 3.3T for about $AU58k on road.

The s4 is really nice, there’s also the s5 sportback for a more coupish look. Don’t forget the s3. If you like the golf r, but want a sedan vs a hatch, it’s the same drivetrain but with more luxury added.

If you want used, with the Audi’s, go certified preowned if that’s a thing down under, over here it means a six year bumper to bumper extended warranty for peace of mind going used.

Given the choices listed, I'd go Stinger GT.

Not available here. Also I'm told it has a CVT in other markets, so I'm kinda glad

Get a Lexus IS350 and call it a day. Good luck with the search and post some pics when you get your new ride.

I'd go with a Ute! I wish we could get those here...

personal wishes aside, the Stinger sounds like the best out of those choices!

Heh, I hear ya. The final model HSV Maloo ute came with the 6.2L supercharged LSA engine as well.

Unfortunately the need for 4 seats is real

Out of the choices - depending on how big of a ride you need and if you are wanting a sedan - i would go Stinger as well or a used Lexus. But...like some have said in previous posts - if you are wanting a car that is practical and still is fun to drive - I would consider a Golf R. It can easily be tuned to produce more HP, AWD and is a fun car to drive. Just my .02. Good luck with your new choice - hope to see pics when you get it

Avoid anything made by Chrysler-Fiat and call it a win.

The only affordable sedan that has truly blown me away having driven some hardcore sports cars is the Alfa Romeo Giulia Ti Sport. If your country gets the veloce I say... do it!!
