I'll be reading this forum until it goes away, or I do. I've had my Z for almost 7 years, and will not be getting rid of it any time soon. I still have a lot of upgrades in mind. I have a daughter on the way, and hopefully in the future she'll enjoy working on the car with me.

This forum has been instrumental in all the DIY work I've done, so I really do hope it continues well after the Z34 is discontinued.

There’s also folks who had a z (or 2, or 3+) that made friends and enjoy spending time here since there are some good folks on here. Very few vehicles create a lasting subculture within the car world (vette, Jeep, Miata, z, etc) this is one of them.

There’ll be more off topic discussions as time goes on vs on topic z threads but that’s fine with me. :tup:

This forum and the Power Wagon forum. I've made friendships that will last a life time. :tup:

Yeah.........we need you to post the Z manual every now and then. :tup:

I'm sure the forum will stick around, always a good resource to ask at least a few people questions. I don't have too many car buddies in my field, so this is my fix. Also, I'm sure at some point, the Z will become super cheap and will become a bigger mod/build platform (obviously a decent presence is already there). So maybe there will be a second wind as it gets into the third, fourth, and fifth owners who have some sort of nostalgia for it or want a simple-ish, relatively analog car.

I'm pretty much here because I wanted a fun analog car that would be more reliable than the E46 M3 which was my original desire. I'm sure more people will come to this car in the used market in the future.

Well we know for sure Hotrodz and Elmo are progressing toward their big build, so we will have entertaining contents (knowledge, pain, joy, jokes at the expenses of their pain :stirthepot:, etc) for at least the next couple of years.

There's nothing analog about the Z. IIRC, even the "analog" gauges are servo-driven.

I think what most people mean by the term “analog” is the feel of the driving experience which is very classic sports car like. Hydraulic steering, naturally aspirated V6, regular (non computer controlled) suspension, real gauges (not computer generated), not much noise dampening, etc. all help contribute to that unique analog feel.

I can remember when "gay" was synonymous with "happy." And being "male" meant you had a Y chromosome. Guess I'm getting old.

We use gay as another term for odd or weird, eg, stop being so gay. Always have... Always will. And fag = punk.

Fag = cigarette in England.

We used to always call the gaffers, faggers. You know. Because it was funny.

Prove to me that it isn't.
