Default hoping

I am hoping they end the 370z soon ,and i think and hope the 2020 will be the last gas powered z car. i think this for selfish reasons ,i own one of the last magma red sport.7s auto with almost no miles kept in a garage with ac. I also think the next iteration of the z car will have some element of electric power, and i think all of the above might make the 370 somewhat rare.if not it still will be a auto that most people know nothing about and will see less and less of every day. i have only seen one yellow one in my travels in the last 2 years in my area .so i am hoping.not for any monetary gain ,just for it being a rare breed .eta i also think electric :in a 2 door sport car will not get many of us excited.

If the Z is discontinued - it is what it is. I love my current Z (even though I'm asking all the time if it's worth trading it for XYZ car haha). It is one of the few cars out there that is a balanced sports car - where you can add some boltons and make it a fun car.
Definitely better cars out there - but for me, I do enjoy the hydraulic steering wheel and the recaros; as well as having the option for a 6MT.
If they would've just added a higher HP engine - maybe some actual torque to this car - and updated the interior - i think a lot of us would gladly buy a new one. Regardless I want (don't know if I will) keep my car for as long as I can - but that new Supra is one really nice ride (subjective I know haha).

Yes an old model but to me if i look at the porches over the past 25 years aside from rear tail lights wtf changed?

Anywho.... it would be a shame to discontinue but i also see why they would want to... they should limit production to keep it alive until they sort themselves out.

This is the last affordable high revving NA manual offering. The stangs went ecoshit + v8. Miata and toyobarus are a bit soft on the power side. Everything else is way more pricey without the same offering. Then again... real men are dying out these days and get upset there is no dual climate control and a little lcd screen saying "eco" because it really makes the driving experience knowing you can flip some gimmick switch to tighten up your already loose bowels.
Maybe its because I was the last man standing when I escaped California years ago, but I couldn't agree more with this post. Mad at my 2009 for slave clutch failure, I traded it for a 2010 Hemi Challenger. The barge, as I called it, handled like a pregnant cow on wheels. I was sick every time I saw a Z. In December 2015, I found a used 2015 Z and bought it. The 2009 fit me as if the designers had used my body as a template. Everything was perfect. I told the salesman I hadn't driven a stick in a year. He asked if I wanted a lesson. I said no. As soon as I engaged the clutch, I was all smiles. The original joy and excitement of the first one came back in an instant. I was 100% thankful that Nissan had changed nothing about this car. Say what you want, but it fit me perfectly and was what I always wanted. What sports car, 2 door, 2-seater, rear drive, 6-cylinder, can you find anywhere close to its price class? None.

As a Z enthusiast I am thankful that Nissan is still producing the 370Z model. Despite these recent sales reports the Nissan 370Z is a desired and wanted Japanese sports car in the car market today. I am happy with all the Z’s I’ve owned and sold over the years. The perk of the owning a Z as all Japanese sports cars overall they have excellent resale value and are enjoying to own and drive. I believe it would be in Nissan’s best interest to keep producing the 370Z and GTR models and add new body styling, improved performance, make less production numbers, and keep the price range decent so Nissan can improve sales and yearly profit. The wave of the future is hybrid and electric vehicles you can blame the average consumer for this as if Nissan does produce new model 370Z and GTR it will be more of a futuristic style and design.

Short version

5. Nissan 370Z

The 370Z coupe and roadster are about a decade old at this point, and their sales aren't exactly keeping Nissan dealers afloat.
The 370Z was basically on its way out, but if the current financial climate at Nissan persists,
it will be difficult to create a replacement from scratch. This means the nameplate is likely to go on hiatus.

enjoy
Nissan should act like they care about building cars that people enjoy and be competitive. Instead of cars like the upcoming JUKE that's taking a 73hp shyt in its rerelease with it's new 115hp engine.
They think Mitsubishi got it right? Dumb arses for following the unsuccess trend.

Seems like they want to repeat the 80's all over again. What a mess that was.
