What's up folks?
6 months ago I installed my BlackVue dashcam and hardwired it into my Z, and couldn't be happier with it, but lately something has been bugging me out. I did a little tiny hole on the driver's side so I could easily reach the Power Magic Box (the thing that allows the camera to record while parked) to turn it on/off whenever I needed it. Now, every time I open my door and look at that monstrosity, I want to hit my head against the wall. Need some good ideas from all you fine people on how do I make this look less shitty. Maybe if I put some kind of rubber thingy like the one on the doors/trunk? What do you guys think? ![]() ![]()

I'd use a piece of carbon fiber sheet to cover the hole.
Contact ZCFcovers. They may supply you with a piece that has adhesive backing to cover the hole. Look good too. PM me if you need a contact. ZCF is on Ebay |

You're still using the hole to turn the switch on and off? If no, you could always order a new kick plate

Go to a junkyard and try to look inside the vehicle they have I bet you can find a similar piece and with a little patience you can actually fill it, just like if you have a hole in your drywall, I did a similar "small hole" on my Civic and fixed it that way, not even the dealer that I traded the car could tell. Next time my friend plan ahead and research before you do any cutting, like fingers these do not grow back

That was kind of a crazy way to mount/access that.

Shouldnt be hard to rewire the button to a switch in the center console. I run almost all of my aftermarket on/off power stuff through there.

Just buy a piece from a yard or members parting out their interior pieces. Glassing is too much work unless you sanding therapeutic.
