Frankly for a little more money you should buy new. Improperly broken in Z cars burn oil like crazy. Plus as you know the clutches on those cars are probably abused. I broke my car in for 1,500 km (Canada) and went thru 2.5 litres of oil during that time. I changed the oil to synthetic and have not used an ounce of ol in the past 3 years. My clutch is like new and I change the clutch fluid as soon as it darkens slightly. Strict and complete maintenance on these units will provide you with trouble free driving. The only used 370Z that I would buy would be my Mom's if it were an automatic!

I quit buying new cars years ago. The depreciation in the first couple years is insane. I always buy manuals and never had a problem with clutch wear or oil consumption. I had 2 Hondas and now the Z. The Z was a 2010 bought in 2012 with 12K on the clock. Knock wood, I haven't had to do anything but normal maintenance. Doesn't use a drop of oil. The only car I have had problems with is the BMW I bought new. Biggest piece of crap. Reminded me of American cars from the '70s.
Hotrodz and Zingston like this.
