How much would someone pay for a Z with a bad CSC?

Hello all, So recently my CSC went out. 2011 370z sport tech 83-84k miles. Getting to the point where I don't really want to invest more money into the car.

Hello all,

So recently my CSC went out. 2011 370z sport tech 83-84k miles. Getting to the point where I don't really want to invest more money into the car. Other than the CSC issue everything is good. No check engine or anything. Everything is stock besides so cosmetics stuff. Say if price it at 6k would anyone bite? Don't have a lein. Plan to use the money towards my school loan. Just curious.

You'd make more spending the $1k on getting the CSC fixed and then selling it for market price.

Run a KBB value check on the car, I did a quick one and they were saying private sale is about 12K. Just took a guess on your car, and that was a price with some mechanical issues

Thanks! Another reason for selling is because the c7 value is going to tank once the c8 Vette drops. Lol part of the money I get will pay off my school loan and the rest goes toward my savings for the Vette lol

That's what I'm thinking but once I install the cmak and new cmc - I don't think I would want to sell it anymore. Decisions. Decisions.

Fix it and keep the car. Don’t sell a car every time something breaks.

Broken CSC means no test drive. So, you are asking someone to buy it on faith. $6k will have bites, but you also limit to buyers pool to the ones willing to take a risk.

Good luck

You're selling an otherwise perfectly working 370Z with a failed OEM CSC for $6000? How many miles?

Great point that you brought. I am planning to replace the CSC with cmak and cmc. Once done I most likely will keep the Z. If I do sell it, I plan to price it around the 10k mark.

Hd csc + master + insulated line + labor ran me about 1500... i think... or was it 2k... oh yes 2k but that included oil change, clutch/brake fluid.

And running 3 progressively more expensive brake fluid through the clutch reservoir because the bleeder sxrew was fk up.

$6k sounds very cheap even with a bad csc.

are there other undesirables things with the car?

No! Just the fact that it has higher mileage and I'm not really sure who would want to buy project car but I think I already made my choice of getting her up and running so I can sell it for more.
