I do the same (Uniden R1). Orange blends in with the rest of the interior displays better at night.

Word, with the mirror mount it looks near factory. I wanted the R1 but they were sold out at the time and I need my instant gratification, you like? The Max 360 has been great where its of use, though kinda useless in Dallas since we don't have cops anymore it seems lol. I also don't see highway patrol anymore now that I think about it...

That was a fair article. As I have said before on this forum, I quite like the simplicity of the 370. And like the author, I feel the base model is a steal at its price considering the performance you get.
