**** brown

I went car shopping today and one of the dealers had the black cherry on the show room floor and I have to say I'm very unimpressed with the color seeing how it costs an extra $500. I dont know if it was the lighting inside or what but the color looked like **** brown. Kinda dissapointing bc the name of the color and from the pics online it looked and sounded really nice but in person was totally a different story. what was you all's impressions when you saw it in person?

The colour changes quite dramatically in different light and CAN seem brown under fluorescent lighting at the dealer. Outside it is definitely more "cherry". The slight "brown" is actually not too bad in the evening light. I am waiting to take delivery of mine in the next couple of weeks (long story) but when I get it, I will take pics in different lighting so everyone can see.

I think those who like cars in that color range will really like this one. It dresses up the car with a unique, limited-edition kinda vibe. IMO, it looks more appropriate for a Lexus sedan -- not for me, but I can certainly understand the appeal.

I saw one at the dealership when I bought my truck, and I thought it was black until we got close and saw that itwas a very dark maroon like color.

I hope thats the case because it really does look good in your sig and in pics on the web that I've seen. Fotunately you wont be driving it under fluorescents...basically ever.
