Buyers beware z1 motorsports
Buyers beware. Ordered drive shaft shop pro level axles for my 370z from Z1 motorsports. These are suppose to be bolt in however my axle stubs need modification. Z1 motorsports strung me along for 3 months and gave me the run around and when i finally received my axles they don't fit. I called then over 10 times and not once did they call me back. One employee told me the messed up my order. When i was talking to there tech support at z1 they told me they never sold pro level axles before and didnt know what to offer. 3 months is not acceptable to wait for parts to arrive. I did alot of buisness with Z1 and ordered a tone of stuff only to be treated like this. Z1 offer NO help what so ever. I made a paypal claim only to be denied because they lied in the paypal claim.

So You've bought a TON of parts and you had 1 bad experience?
Sorry to hear about the bad experience, But I'm still going to purchase from Z1 I've looked at your post history and this is NOT the only company you've complained about. Thanks for the warning anyway |

I've never had anything but good luck dealing with Z1. They are more than willing to answer any questions I've ever had. They've always been very helpful, and had quick shipping with quality parts.

It can be hit or miss with them. Sometimes I feel like people on this forum forget that Z1 isn't Santa Claus, it's a business that exists to make profit, and it's run by human beings that are fallible.
Shipping you the wrong parts and not paying for return shipping is b.s. though. Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk |

Ordered a black undershroud and Z1 sent me a silver model. Emailed proof of my order and still had to pay the return shipping. I continue todo business with Z1 but not owning your own mistake is poor customer service

Sorry you had that happen to you... unfortunately, many people here will give the benefit of the doubt to companies that THEY have had good experiences with regardless of what others experience, and then turn around and point the finger at you...
If paypal didn't refund your money then you still have the option of going through your credit card company. Good luck with it. |

I have only had one issue. I was sent Carbotech 1520's instead of XP8's. I got the new ones and shipped the old ones back. I had no issues shipping it back on my dime. That is only one of several transactions. No issues here. As far as axle issues. Nissan has done put some stub axles in that were different than what is normal. I took my car to Z1 to have the OS Giken diff installed. Guy walked out with my stub axles and said they were not nut and bolt but drilled. He asked, what do I want to do. I said, put me a new one in it. So they did. I am glad they did because I have the the DSS pro level axles. You need the nut and bolt type stub axles, not threaded due to the adaptor plates that are used to bolt them to the new DSS axles.
If you would have posted when the issue happened, we all could of helped on here. Why did you wait so long just to bitch about it? Last edited by Spooler; 06-27-2019 at 01:24 PM. |
