Default Help with kickplate install

I just installed my illuminated kickplates, following the directions provided and the instructions in the DIY section. Now that I'm completely done and put everything back together, I discovered that windows aren't operating normally. When I open a door the window goes down about a quarter inch, like it supposed to, but then it doesn't go back up when I close the door. If I open the door again, it goes down about another half inch and stays there when I close the door. I can put the window up using the button. Both sides do the same thing.

There's really not anything I could have done differently, because you basically just disconnect a connector, put the T adapter in the middle and connect it back up.

Has anyone had this problem? Does anyone have any suggestions?

Try this:
Quote:
1. Push the ignition switch to the ON position.

2. Close the door.

3. Open the window completely by operating
the power window switch.

4. Pull the power window switch and hold it to
close the window, and then hold the switch
more than 3 seconds after the window is
closed completely.

5. Release the power window switch. Operate
the window by the automatic function to
confirm the initialization is complete.

6. Perform steps 2 through 5 above for other
windows.

Vipor (and Triple's),

Thank you, thank you, thank you! I just got up and I was expecting that I was going to spend a few hours taking it apart, checking the connections, and then retaping and redoing the cable ties. But the steps worked and reset the windows, so everything works like its supposed to.
