Doug DeMuro Reviews the 370Z Nismo...and it doesn't go too well

I've kind of wondered why Doug never got around to reviewing a Z. Unfortunately, now that he has, I sort of wish he hadn't: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WvuqvqJuc6w Oh, well. Maybe this will

Oh, well. Maybe this will push used Nismo prices down even further. I'm in the market for one...

I have to agree with him about the interior. I never cared that much for it when I bought mine 9 years ago. I wanted the driving dynamics which I still like. Interior styling is way down on my list as is tech. Still, I had no idea a Nismo cost that much...way over priced.

All this guy is doing is harping on the age of the car model (wow, genius) and being an a$$ with the rest of his review. He started off not liking it, so what did you expect?

His review flat sucked!

I honestly think his review is spot on. It's way behind but it's still a very fun to drive car. I don't agree about the interior as I really like it, especially with the Nismo seats.

Its true a 370z NEW is outdated and overpriced, it seemed like he did enjoy driving it though and thats what we all bought it for. Lets be real though who is really buying this car for 46k? I would think most people are buying it used, which I think is a great price for what you get considering you can find one for 19-25k for a lightly used one and 28-33k for a newer Nismo model.

To be honest, to review a "sports car" like the Z, imo your doing it wrong when you start off reviewing the Nismo automatic but thats just me. Allot of what he says is right, though allot of what he doesn't like is subjective, everyone really is different. I think allot of his complaints came from this car costs over 45k and this is what we get.. which we all know hes right. I still love the car, timeless curves, great history, fun, fast enough to get me in trouble. xD

People always complain about the Nismo's cost, but a base 718 Cayman starts at $10K *more*, only has that crappy 4-cylinder engine, and comes with less standard equipment.

meh its all fair game. At this point no reviewer that gonna brag about the Z interior or power. At least he didn't drone on about blind spots, luggage space and other practical crap that never applies to sports cars.

I found him a little sarcastic but mostly right. It's his opinion. I don't have a NISMO, but one thing I can tell you all is that there are so few Z's in my neck of the woods that even thou is antiquated, most people don't know that and all they see is a sharp sports car. I wonder if he ever reviewed the Cadillac CTS which is around 47K, my friend has one and you talk about electronics, wowza, I think it gives you your blood pressure while you drive but then again my friend has his car at the dealer once a month for technical difficulties..go figure, I will stick with the old school techs

Doug DeMuro is the type of guy who rents a car from Turo to do a YouTube review...

99% of his "reviews" consist of him rambling aimlessly and droning on about the quirks of vehicles. I don't really classify him as a legitimate car reviewer and, typically, am a little dumber for being lulled into watching his content.

Love My NISMO, that's why I just had it repainted.

Fixed the power problem with SC.

Interior, less is more!!! (nothing to brake) I'll have this car for another 10 years, when the elect/gizmo stuff fails on other cars, and the manufactures quits supporting, what cars survive, We Do. The Z will never have a problem that I can't fix myself.

Doug did not even know what the key slot was for! Sorry for the rant.

If you watch this guy’s other reviews you will see what an a$$hat he is. His reviews are not very professional since he mostly bases them on his personal opinion of cars’ looks and harps on about “quirks and features”. He barely drives the cars. I definitely do not look to this guy for proper car reviews. You should see the one he did on the Tesla Model 3 where he forgave the grossly misaligned door trims and interior trim just because it was a high tech smartphone on wheels. Then he gives the cars a “Doug Score”. I mean you really need to be full of yourself to name a scoring system after yourself......lol!

He found success in being an entertainer and has completely become a caricature of himself over the past year or two. Ugh, and that "Doug score" masturbation.

He reminds me of a childrens youtube entertainer anymore. HAHA OMG QUIRK TALL MAN IN SMALL HAHA BACK HAHA SEAT HAHA
