Noob at driving stick, how hard is it with the z??

I've heard it takes time for the light of the sun to reach the earth. Is there a way to speed up the speed of light because I read on the internet that if the speed of light can be increased it will make my magnetic black Z look shinier. I don't think it works for any other Z colours but probably someone here in can chime in and confirm this?

Yes - you just need to twin-turbo Light itself. More power = faster....amirite?

The problem is right now it seems like we can only power the TT to go about 99,000 mph which is not fast enough to keep up with the light and effectively TT it.

However, Nissan has developed triangular airplane wing thingies that should help get those TT's up to 186,000mph to latch onto the light waves and boost them. Nissan engineers have installed these TAWTs on select 370Zs.

i came from an auto civic. i jumped to a 370z nismo. first time driving a manual too but i learned in a weekend. on monday i had to go to work so i had no choice but man it out. just be careful and get used to spinning the wheel for couple days.

regarding the starting on a hill: let out the clutch a bit before you let go of the brake, that way its very close to the point of engagement and you can just gas it without rolling back as much.

or you can just roll back until you hit the car behind you. then once you can't roll back anymore you start to give it gas.

I must say the best way to learn would be to hire a rental manual car and practice.

Save your own clutch...

I find the Z has a tough clutch (yes i know there are tougher out there, my friend's custom supra clutch is murder...) compared to my previous car, the polo gti and that had a tougher clutch than the average everyday car. From this perspective i'd imagine learning to use a manual on the z would be a sobering experiance. Not impossible but more unpleasant than it should be.

Remember however that once you get good at the z clutch, the normal cars out there become extremely easy.

Only manual transmition experience i had was like 10 years ago in a girlfriend's Corolla i drove like twice, so I basically learned on the Z. So yes it can be done but like everyone has said, the clutch is not friendly.

Other than some of the specialty rentals that have exotic cars, what rental car agencies have a good supply of manual transmission vehicles?

I can't be bothered with reading the other responses, but I don't think driving a stick is any easier/harder in one car versus another. I've driven a lot of manuals in cars, and they are all pretty much the same. Some have more "slop" to allow for error, but I wouldn't call that easier to drive per se. Only thing that was somewhat tricky was driving an old full size uhaul.

As for learning to drive stick, it would be nice if you had a buddy with a junker you could practice on; but I learned on a car I had just bought and never did grind the gears. Stalled out a couple times though
I saw "rental car" somewhere in here. I don't know of any people who rent manuals

Easiest way is holding up the handbrake and release the clutch as you would normally and when you feel the car pull on the handbrake you release it.

no need for instant jumping to gas before omg I crash into somebody
