New Z from 2009 Z

Hey, so I got a new Z a couple weekends back. Sports model with all the
Good stuff that I like without all the unnecessary stuff i don't need.
I like a clean stock no extra attention to me look without the stick on look of the front and rear factory "guards" behind the wheels. I looked but couldn't find anything about pre cut clear body membranes for this area. Anything out there to protect the paint after removing those guards? Thanks

I had what you’re talking about on my g coupe and hated them, dirt collects around the edges much faster than the rest of the car, and they were harder to clean. Just my .02

Thanks Sway.
Not sure how I would cut it myself.
Good point.

I didn't find much feedback from users who upgraded from earlier models. How's the throttle response compared to 2009 since they've updated it?

It's crazy, but with my 2016 MDX I love the consistency and urgency of the throttle response. Virtually no lag or deadspots, and it's easy to blip. It's nice to adjust the response by setting the dynamic setting (Comfort, Normal, Sport). It's similar to having a Sprint Booster, except the throttle response is consistent when cold or hot.

If they fix this with the recent models, I wouldn't mind going back... but I rather wait for the VR30 :P

The throttle response is much improved in the new z. I had a sprint booster on the 09 to help with the delay.

I went from an ‘07 to an ‘09 and now a ‘13. No difference in throttle response. The only thing that stood out to me was the winding down noise from the steering wheel on the ‘09 right after pushing the start button and same winding noise when opening the door after turning the car off.
