Well since none of the jokers above had anything constructive to say, I will suggest to go to Bob Is The Oil Guy, used oil analysis section, and search for posts that I have made. I posted several UOA's of Redline in my '09 at different mileage points over the last 9 years, with very favorable reports.

[/QUOTE] When Vegas where new they would leave oil on showroom floor.Have not even mentioned how much oil they burned because of the bad design.Weak aluminum block with iron heads.Bad idea.Heat would cause warping. One of GMs biggest mistakes. |

Pontiac fix was the Iron Duke motor in their version of the Vega. Iron block and head.
