Well since none of the jokers above had anything constructive to say, I will suggest to go to Bob Is The Oil Guy, used oil analysis section, and search for posts that I have made. I posted several UOA's of Redline in my '09 at different mileage points over the last 9 years, with very favorable reports.

One of GMs biggest mistakes. |

Pontiac fix was the Iron Duke motor in their version of the Vega. Iron block and head.
