What colour is your key?
 

Hmmm just noticed something when I went to go pick up a new key from the dealership.

The original 2 keys I was given with the car are all black. The new key I received that they ordered in has a silver key portion?

Just curious, what colours does everyone else have?

Mine are the same as the ones in your picture.

My 2009: Silver

2011 Silver

I owned 2 Z34's n those were the keys. I never seen an all black key for the Z.

Some aftermarket keys are black. Original ones are usually silver.

Both of mine are all black w/ Z logo, '17 model

So you're saying aftermarket keys can be black or silver... and original ones can be black or silver? Interesting.

2011, original owner, both keys are black ;)

2017 & both of my key portions are black.

11 FX, 10 G, 09 Z, and a 18 Q50 (recent dealership loaner car, not pictured), all silver.

Both of the original keys for my 2011 Z34 are black.

2015 and both are black

Can someone post a pic on the all black key?

mini_cal's original post has a picture of each type of key. The top one is black and the bottom one is silver. He/she is referring to the far right portion of the key. The "D" shape on the far right.

Yea, that's my bad I should clarify I am referring the physical key attachment/D ring portion - not the fob part. Oops.
