Fastest MPH in your Z ?
I recently hit my 1200 miles in my 370z. And went the fastest I have ever gone in a car. And it felt like smooth butter on a hot dog and buns!:icon17:
What is your Fastest MPH.... On-track: not yet Other: 130mph |
Not public road : 135 MPH. Very stable.

140mph on I5 on a clear night. I did not know u can go to jail for over 100 until recently. Plus 2 tickets already so I am going at the speed limit :( that was so stupid yet so much fun. Car handled great at that speed.

So you post stuff on things that are 3 months old? With new Z owners, and those owners breaking in their Zs, there is going to be new high speeds. Maybe those guys took their Zs on the track? Maybe their drivers have gotten braver and gone past 100mph? So why don't you just post you speed, make like a tree and leave. :p:owned: |
Got a chance to see what she felt like at triple digit speeds in a "safe environment". I was very suprised to see how easily 140 was reached. Held on a little longer to 145 or so and called it quits. Without a speed limiter I think our Z's are good for 160+

flame on.
|
Yeah the speed limiter does limit the Z...i feel it will do +160mph. How fast have i gone? I've function tested the speed limiter a few times.
|
I'll see in a few months. ;)

Stable and wants to keep on pushing. Just ran out of road for the hp provided. :icon17: Going back on the 17th this month. More vids to come! |
did a little spirited driving on the best road in southern NM, Lake valley from Hatch to Hillsboro, the curves are great and if a cop clocked me he might have read 130+ the curves are great too

There is nothing wrong with posting in old threads, they contain info that maybe the New owners might find useful, and they could also add their experience, and it does make it easier when You're trying to remember what thread it was you saw certain info to help someone else or for personal knowledge. Opening new threads on the same subject makes it more to search thru. Now if it's a new question or problem that with a quick search has not yielded any hits, then by all means post. I'm not coming down on anyone other than we Don't need unnecessary threads on Duplicate subjects. :tiphat:
