For those with spacers

I was looking to get 25mm/20mm but after calling around several places, it seems that nobody will install them and more importantly nobody will work with them. What I got

Default For those with spacers

I was looking to get 25mm/20mm but after calling around several places, it seems that nobody will install them and more importantly nobody will work with them. What I got from most tire and brake shops is that they have to remove them and place them in the trunk, otherwise they can't work on the car.

So basically every time I get new tires or pads, I have to re-install the spacers?

I want to get this clear because I don't have actual space (or time) to do this so it would be a huge pain.

I dont have spacers, but I've never heard this before. They are on my build list, so now I'm curious to know more about this.

I have spacers. Just install them yourself, it's as easy as changing a tire if they are the bolt on variety.
I also just got new tires put on, no one said anything about the spacers and there were no problems.

Tire shop has never said anything about mine. They even check torque for me when i ask.

I've never had any issue when I've changed my tires. In fact, most techs don't even notice the spacers.

Same here, when I had spacers I had 2 tire changes and they never said anything.

My suggestion would be to buy wheels with the proper offset. No spacers needed then. If you ever have seen a wheel come off
due to a spacer issue, you would understand.

Come on now! Hell race teams use them. They just need to hub centric, not obsessive used with quality extended wheel studs. I do agree of you can order wheels with proper offsets do it.

Ho, and have never had an issue with any tire shop regarding my use of spacers.

Extended studs and slip on spacers are fine. It is the bolt on ones that are an issue.
