Trust me I love(d) my Z and want to get one soon (roadster, and as a compliment to the Mustang), but I just love Mustangs, torque, and back seats.

I read these Z vs. X threads initially with enthusiasm because I learn interesting things about other nice cars. But the inevitable focus on the negative (of both the Z and the comparison cars) always drives me out, back to the Motivational Posters thread in the Premium area.
Is it just me?

The doors are amazing, but not quite on the level of the Miata.

Of course they aren't Miata-level but could you give a percentage like say 87% Miata and compare that percent to a 370Z percent rating? Obviously Miata is the foil all others are tested against, everyone knows that.

So in terms of the "clunk" sound and feeling when you close the door as it relates to the Miata's awesomeness, it's like this: 2011 Mustang GT - 63% 2009-2010 370Z - 31%
