clubsports23 twin turbo Nismo

Any info about the 370z nismo that was at 2018 Sema? I wanted to pick up a 2018/2019 370z nismo... but I would rather just wait for a factory forced induction model.

Dear Nissan Santa, If you're reading this, please put me on your purchase list for factory forced induction Z with a manual trans

I really hope they do it as a release and not as a "add on kit" from what I have gathered. The Nismo design is solid for another respin. I am just anxious to hear whats next. I feel the twin turbo engine would make up for the lack of one on the 350z.

But damn, apparently there is a 2019 370z Nismo out and no TT. Another waiting game. What a damn tease!

I'd much rather see an NA straight six in the Z again instead of a TT V6. Get it down to about 3k lbs, around 280 hp, and it would be perfect.

They wont bring this to production.

What a way to stay positive! :rofl2:

They probably won't. But if there was a swap kit, I would probably entertain it. Although... the cost vs just forging the VQ37 would be a determine factor.... oder?

MA Motorsports hinted in one of the comments on facebook when this was first released that they were working on a "swap kit" that would be available in the near future.

Any estimation to a cost on something like this? I was thinking 10-15k without the VR30.

No thank you, ill be keeping my vq37vhr, because imho its a better engine, for the swap kit price ill buy a TT kit, boost it to 8psi, and have about 500whp. Thos is about 12k of parts +labor, i am sure that the swap kit will go near20k w/o labor.

the point was never the value

its that it would (theoretically) be smog legal and warrantied

Yeap, for you guys on the west coast that is very important.

OptionZero 12-28-2018 04:57 PM

in california, fast intentions won't even sell me an HFC or headers

they might install it if i get it through alternate route

The counter to california is that if Nissan were to require a certified installer, i bet they'd have a few in the state

I believe Stillen is the only place that is authorized to install N-Attack gear on GTRs, and they're in Costa Mesa.

We could probably think of this imaginary engine/transmission package as a similar type of upgrade option
