Can somebody tell me if the oil filter in the picture is genuine Nissan part? I'm a bit suspicious because the oil filter in the picture does not look like

Fake oil filters?
Can somebody tell me if the oil filter in the picture is genuine Nissan part? I'm a bit suspicious because the oil filter in the picture does not look like the oil filter that I recently bought from a local dealership. The oil filter from the dealership did not have Japanese writings on it and I believe it was made in mexico and not china.
Another thing that makes me suspicious is the gray adhesive shown in the last picture. It sloppy and inconsistent. Has anyone bought an oil filter from a dealership that looked like the oil filter in the pictures below? Last edited by david90; 11-22-2018 at 03:23 AM. |
