She's gone, but IM not!

Miss me? LOL

I'm still lurking the370z forum.
Still updating the track times thread.
You may / may not know that I purchased a new Camaro cuz some ____ t-boned my 370z.

I have noticed some distinct differences between forums:
  • The Camaro6.com forum is a cluster, just "chest beating"
  • People are overtly rude
  • There's dividing lines based on which model Camaro is purchased.
  • The FB forums for the new camaro are all trolls, no useful info.

So, THIS is why i'm still here:
  • My efforts are appreciated and i know WAY more about the 370z than the SS. lol
  • I love the Z.
  • The community is better.
  • The Z looks better.

*dusts off hands*

Just another set of reasons why I dislike the American muscle car scene so much. Trust me, it's not like that just on your Camaro forum. It's like that on the Corvette, Charger/Challenger and Mustang forums as well. They're all a bunch of testosterone filled meat-heads.

There's a couple of guys in our apartment complex that have SS Camaro's, a brand new one and an older one. Both of these clowns always have to fire them up in the morning and rev the engines a bunch of times before they leave for work. When they come home, they park and do the same damn revving all over again before shutting them off.

Why? What's the point? There's no one else around in the parking lot to impress. It's just either on of them, one at a time out there by themselves revving their stupid engines. A darn couple of 3 year olds I guess.

Anywho. Of course, I'm not saying all of them are like that, but a heck of a lot of them around my town sure are. They do the same thing on the streets. :icon14:

Interesting forum comparison.

Was another Z an option?

When I bought my SRT392, I joined hellcat forum as it is the same as hellcat minus engine. People doesn't care about suspension - brakes, first, they are more of drag - street racing guys, second, performance specially brakes are fantastic in oem form. I followed their advice with brake pads (they said like oem performance) and it was miles behind oem, only good thing it was way cheaper than oem. Just wanted to share my experience with other forums.

At the end the only forum I still check regularly is th370z :D

And good to see you around :icon17: hope you enjoy your Camaro, as far as driving experience, it is a very great car.

interesting comparison, between the forms..
Do enjoy the Camaro, and I understand...
not sure what I would do if the Z got totaled.
Hope I never cross that road

Appreciate the Z forum luv bro. Nothing to learn in other forums because they put each other down. As for the Z in FB.......that's another story.

The Z community is great. I still hang around as well because of this. I just like to think I have a Z in a suit now :p.

Even on the Q50 forums there's a huge divide between the 3.0T & 3.7 Qs. Don't get me started on FB groups, basically a bunch of immature pricks leasing cars and thinking they are ballers.

I have a 2017.5 Maxima Platinum as my DD as my Z is purely for fun on nice sunny warm days when I'm off and want to enjoy a Fine Piece of Totally Fun Equipment and a Head Turner, not to mention the smooth silky sound of my FI Exhaust as I accelerate... (ok, enough of the orgasmic feelings I get with my Z...!)

Back to the Maxima, another Fun, Luxury, Fast, 4-Door DD equipped with the 350Z Engine but boasting 300HP with a Tranny that borrows a lot from the GTR (on the Sport Mode setting that is... Ok AGAIN Enough- stay on track dammit!! :wtf2:), I did join the Maxima Forum only to find a lot of immature, ignorance floating around just about every post... It really is painful trying to read what they write, complain, say on there... Maybe I am just getting too old... :driving::confused:
