My car...is now gone...R.I.P
 

My car lived a short life. 5 months to be exact. It was a fresh new baby to the world. It only got the exhaust upgrade. Didn't get to see the new spoiler I ordered, didn't see the cute stickers or plasti-dip colors I had chose to go with it's matching wheels. All because of an 87 year old lady running a red light.

The whole front end has shifted. It's dead. It's gone. But Nissan saved my life from a 40 mile an hour old lady.

Glad you're ok! Sucks about your Z though. Do you think you'll get another one?

Glad you’re OK,
As mine was hit at highway speeds & the other vehicle was an Escalade traveling left to right,,,but at an 8 o’clock-2 o’clock angle.
I never seen it coming till last second....slid & rolled,broke a lumbar disc & pelvis.
Though it really hurt my pride- I’m very thankful to be alive & back working without pain. Only some soreness that Tylenol & Advil work well on.
Don’t let insurance company screw you!

That really blows, & glad to see all the safety stuff worker as it should have!

I have GAP, so hell yeah I'm getting another one! I'm gonna let one of those accident attorneys handle everything. I have a giant knot on the side of my head from the damn window airbag, so my eye is a little swollen. I also have that really nice seat belt burn that hurts like hell, but other than that, I'm good!

The whole time in the emergency room, I was thinking should I go red or white this time!

Wow! That sucks for the Z! Most importantly you are alive and uninjured. You have insurance, now let the process sort out the details. Maybe a new and even better '18 or '19 Z is waiting for you. Good luck to you.

Just makes sure you are 100%. The car can and will be replaced. I still suffer from the idiot that hit me. I just live with it.

That video scared the crap out of me when you can see it coming and there is no stopping. Glad you are ok, just get the insurance matter resolved, heal yourself and go get your next car.

Glad that your ok as everyting else can be replaced. Be glad you had a camera as well. I had a simular situation earlier in the year. Had a chick run a red turn arrow on me when I was on one of my bikes. I had an eye witness & I still got screwed. The only one that stood behind me was my insurance. Ended up in arbatration 7 months later only to get a 50/50 ruling :shakes head:

It is a Thinkware F770 2channel, it comes with the rear that is 1080p also. Just to think, I almost got nailed a couple of weeks ago in another car by a G37 not stopping at a stop sign! It happens at around the 33 second mark.

It's worse when you don't. LOL I had a little glimpse in the mirror, that's it.

I got rear ended in my Power Wagon in 2010 at a stop light. I seen him coming and he wasn't slowing down at all. I couldn't do a thing about it. I had cars in front of me. Hit me at about 50 mph. A 7,000 pound truck really helps out to absorb the impact. He did $3,000 in damage to me. He went under my rear bumper. And totaled his ferd exploder. It bent the frame at the middle. Couldn't open up any doors. He had to climb out the back hatch. After he hit me. I jumped out of my truck to see what hit me. The kid was still in the drivers seat, holding onto his cell phone. Saying that his brakes failed. :shakes head: The bad part. His grandmother is my neighbor. :shakes head: And I know his dad. I wanted to kick his azz so bad. It didn't hit me until the next day. Felt like I got kicked in the back. And I was sore for a few days after. The kid bruised his sternum, a sore jaw and a black eye from the air bag is what his grandmother said. He's lucky that I didn't break his f!@king neck. :shakes head:

That's as close as it gets. California is known to have some of the worst drivers.

Since your buying another Z, are you going to add/remove the options your first one had?

Glad you are okay. Never had an airbag deploy, I can only imagine it is quite an impact and would suspect a little shocking. Glad you can replace the vehicle!

Yeah, it was like Mike Tyson and Evander Holyfield were fighting over who got to get to turn the stations in the car! Them things hurt like heck, and the smoke from them deploying , leaves you coughing and trying to breath for air!
